TMA Monthly Update
Reflecting on January: 2024
As we look back over the month of January, we want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support and provide you with an update on the impactful moments that unfolded.

Devine's Tragedy: It was with heavy hearts that we shared the unfortunate news that one of the TMA children, Devine, lost members of her family in a tragic road accident. In these challenging times, we are standing by her side, offering love, friendship, and prayers to provide comfort and support.
Birthday Celebrations: On a brighter note, both Justice and Wesley celebrated their 3rd birthdays this month. They thoroughly enjoyed sharing a birthday cake with their friends and family and we enjoyed celebrating the lives of these children and creating lasting memories with them that they will cherish.
Road to the Farm in Kagere: Despite facing unexpected challenges with unseasonable rain, Derrick and his dedicated team, including Denis, Jimmy, Charles, Shakira, and even little Kisayke, worked tirelessly to dig the road to the farm. It has been back braking work for all involved and many a hand has been left blistered and sore!! With funds secured from a generous donation by members of Cornerstone Church in Wales, UK, we were able to hire a grader as soon as weather conditions permitted and the road to the farm was ready to transport the sugar cane
Sugar Cane Harvesting: Despite facing the challenges of unseasonable rain and the slow progress of road grading, we are delighted to share that, with God's grace, all the sugar cane has been successfully harvested and transported to the factory. It was a slow and uphill battle, but your unwavering support and divine intervention have led us to this achievement. We thank you for standing with us through every hurdle, making a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.
Child Partnerships: Excitingly, we now have four children—Hamza, Mike, Kisayke, and Emma—partnered with individuals in both the UK and US. These connections have already fostered communication, with the children introducing themselves to their sponsors. Your support is creating meaningful relationships that transcend borders.
Saturday Fellowship: Our Saturday fellowship sessions continue to be a source of joy and spiritual growth for the children. Through singing, dancing, and learning different Bible scriptures, the kids are not only finding joy in worship but also building a strong foundation in their faith.
Looking Forward to February: 2024
As we step into February with hope and determination, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the positive impact we can make with your continued support.

Children's Return to School: Many of the children have joyfully returned to school after a month-long holiday. We express our gratitude to God for His provision of school fees, uniforms, and materials for these children. We are especially thankful again, to members of Cornerstone church in Wales UK who provided the funds for 5 children to return to school this term. We continue to trust in God's provision as we aim to extend this support to more children in need, ensuring that education remains accessible to all.

Appointment of Office Manager: In our pursuit of efficiency and growth, we are actively seeking to appoint an office manager. This strategic move will allow Derrick to concentrate more on other priorities while streamlining the administrative aspects of TMA. Trusting in God's guidance, we are hopeful that we will secure the necessary resources, including a computer for the office. This technology will enable us to implement the software needed to manage the financial paperwork effectively, ensuring the smooth operation of our NGO.

Chapel Roof Repair: Another pressing concern is the leaky roof in our chapel. We are earnestly praying for God's provision of funds to fix this issue promptly. It is our sincere desire to create a safe and dry space for the children during Saturday fellowship, where they can worship without the worry of getting wet when it rains. Your continued prayers and support are invaluable in addressing this need.

TMA Base Improvement Initiatives: We are embarking on crucial facility enhancements at the TMA base. With your support, we aim to address general maintenance, including painting, to create a more vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, we aspire to provide upgraded kitchen facilities and improve the toilet facilities to ensure a safer and more comfortable environment for the children and staff. Trusting in God's guidance, we hope to secure the necessary resources for these initiatives, to improve and uplift the space for everyone involved. Your continued prayers and support are instrumental as we work towards these improvements at our base.

Upcoming Mission Visit from YWAM Mexico: We are thrilled to announce an upcoming mission visit from YWAM Mexico. As we prepare for their arrival we ask for your prayers for the success of this visit. May it foster fruitful relationships and bonds between TMA and the YWAM community. Your prayers are instrumental in ensuring a meaningful and beneficial collaboration that will positively influence the lives of those we serve.
As we embark on all these activities, we are filled with gratitude for your commitment to TMA. Together, we believe that through faith and action, we can overcome challenges and continue making a positive impact on the lives of the children we serve.
Thank you for being a part of our journey.
